Ingredients

  • 2 potatoes medium
  • 1 cup broccoli steamed
  • ½ cup fox nut
  • 100 gm paneer
  • 2 tablespoon coriander
  • 2 green chili
  • 1 teaspoon rock salt
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 cup yogurt

Instructions

  • Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine boiled potatoes, steamed broccoli, roasted and crushed makhana, and mashed paneer. Add coriander, green chilies, and rock salt to taste. Shape the mixture into tikkis.
  • Fry or Air-Fry: Fry the tikkis in ghee until crispy, or air-fry at 200°C for about 12 minutes, flipping once halfway through for even crispiness.
  • Prepare Chaat: Top the tikkis with sweet and salty yogurt, coriander and peanut chutney, tamarind chutney, and a sprinkle of roasted cumin.
  • Garnish & Serve: Optionally, garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve immediately for a delightful Navratri snack!

Notes

  • Ensure the mixture is well-combined to prevent the tikkis from falling apart.
  • Don’t overcrowd the air fryer, as this can prevent even cooking.
  • Let the tikkis rest for a few minutes before serving to help them firm up.
  • Adjust the seasoning after tasting the mixture, especially the salt and chilies.
