Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine boiled potatoes, steamed broccoli, roasted and crushed makhana, and mashed paneer. Add coriander, green chilies, and rock salt to taste. Shape the mixture into tikkis.
Fry or Air-Fry: Fry the tikkis in ghee until crispy, or air-fry at 200°C for about 12 minutes, flipping once halfway through for even crispiness.
Prepare Chaat: Top the tikkis with sweet and salty yogurt, coriander and peanut chutney, tamarind chutney, and a sprinkle of roasted cumin.
Garnish & Serve: Optionally, garnish with pomegranate seeds and serve immediately for a delightful Navratri snack!
Notes
Ensure the mixture is well-combined to prevent the tikkis from falling apart.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer, as this can prevent even cooking.
Let the tikkis rest for a few minutes before serving to help them firm up.
Adjust the seasoning after tasting the mixture, especially the salt and chilies.
