Ingredients
  

  • 2 Sweet potato
  • 1 cup Makhana powder
  • 150 g paneer grated
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Green chili chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon Tamarind chutney
  • 1 teaspoon Coriander chutney
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Pressure cook the sweet potatoes until tender.
  • Once cooked, peel and mash the sweet potatoes in a plate.
  • Add grated paneer and crushed makhana to the mashed sweet potatoes
  • Season with salt, black pepper and finely chopped green chili. Mix everything well.
  • Shape the mixture into tikkis (patties).
  • Add a tablespoon of ghee in a pan and pan fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
  • Place the tikkis on a plate and drizzle with yogurt, tamarind chutney, coriander chutney, sprinkle red chili powder, bhuna jeera and garnish with pomegranate.

  • Ensure Good Binding: Make sure the sweet potatoes are well mashed for better binding.
